ABOUT OUR VILLA

Experience rich history in this iconic 1910 craftsman home located right in the heart of St Augustine’s Uptown. Enjoy the luxury of 2 full ensuite master bedrooms and two additional bedrooms, each with their own separate baths. Additional spaces include a Florida sunroom, a media room with full wet bar, an office and a beautiful outdoor courtyard. St Augustine Villa has been beautifully appointed with Café appliances in the new kitchen, furniture & furnishings from West Elm, DKNY, World Market, Rachel Zoe, Anthropologie, Apt 2B, ALLModern, Purple, etc.

The Villa has been newly renovated and restored and is part of the National Register of Historic Places. The original home was dotingly built between 1910 and 1917 by the well known and respected town plumber, GS Beverly, for his beloved bride. St Augustine Villa has stood through the Great Depression, both World Wars, 100+ hurricane seasons, the Spanish Flu pandemic and more. It's also seen advances in technology like residential electricity and the earliest home telephones. It has witnessed the Beverly family gathered around gramophones, radios, black and white TVs, to flat screens and iPads! When not exploring the abundance of historical treasure just outside the doors, guests can discover little nuggets of history throughout the home. It has so many stories to share, and they are a real treat to learn about around the house.

We are centrally located in the heart of Uptown, right next to the famous Old Mansion. A short walk to the fort (Castillo de San Marco), the Ripley's museum, the mission house, the old city gates, St George Street, countless restaurants, wineries and shops or just hop on the fun trolleys at the welcome center next door. Return from a fun day of sightseeing and take a nap on the comfy daybed or people-watch from the large swing in our Florida Sunroom! Have dinner out in the charming courtyard, among our delicate bougainvillea and living jasmine-lattice walls where the century old bricks and flagstones blend seamlessly to pave a rich and one of a kind hard scape courtyard. Our shady overhead canopy and string lights add up to set the perfect ambience!

WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING

"We were extremely delighted right away with the history of this house preserved into picture frames on the walls. It made the house feel very special knowing about the gentleman that built it 100 years ago, just LOVED that history! House is beautifully updated and appointed, but at the same time preserved. All the amenities were thoughtfully chosen, even the soap provided was amazing. I snapped some pictures as I need it at home haha. My favorite thing about this property was the neighborhood walks, the river is just a few blocks, the fort is just a few blocks. It's quite a special area of St. Augustine I have never seen.

Don't think twice about being hosted here. Well worth it and can't wait to go back."
